COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 2026 • Version 1.0
Our Guiding Purpose:

Vutsapp provides safe, dignified, kosher messaging for Jewish individuals, families, shuls, schools, and businesses. Users are expected to maintain the highest standards of menschlichkeit, kedusha, and respect.

1. Mandatory Community Rules & Halachic Standards

Registration and continued use of Vutsapp is conditioned upon strict compliance with our Community Rules & Covenant. All users explicitly agree:

  • Shmiras Shabbos: To be Shomer Shabbos and Shomer Yom Tov, and never to send messages, post status updates, or operate on the platform during the Sabbath and Jewish Festivals according to halacha.
  • Kedusha & Tzniut: To strictly maintain modest imagery, kosher communications, and zero tolerance for vulgarity, profanity, or inappropriate secular media.
  • Shmiras Halashon: To refrain from Lashon Hara, Motzi Shem Ra, Rechilus, bullying, or public shaming.
  • Integrity in Commerce: To conduct all marketplace listings and business interactions with honesty (Masa U'Matan B'Emunah).

2. Free SMS Service Terms

The free SMS bridging service is provided for personal communication with contacts who do not have the app installed. Automated mass texting or spam marketing over carrier SMS without prior consent is strictly prohibited and subject to account suspension.

3. API Usage & Quotas

API keys are issued subject to our acceptable use policy. Personal keys have a 60 request/min limit; verified business keys are granted 300 requests/min. Keys used to distribute unsolicited messages or harvest data will be revoked.

4. Unconditional Right to Terminate Accounts

Vutsapp is a protected, private communal platform. Vutsapp administrators, moderation teams, and community trustees reserve the absolute, unilateral, and unconditional right to suspend, shut off, disable, or permanently terminate any user account immediately and without prior notice if the user:

  • Violates any provision of the Community Rules & Covenant, including failure to observe Shmiras Shabbos or breach of kedusha and tzniut.
  • Transmits prohibited speech, harasses other members, or engages in fraudulent activities.
  • Acts in any way that compromises the halachic integrity or safety of the community.

Account termination under these terms is final and without liability to Vutsapp or its operators.
